Abstract

The aim of the research is to examine the phenomenological dimensions of protection and rescue tactics of people buried in the ruins caused by various harmful effects of disasters. In that case, the emphasis is placed on the modalities of rescue, the characteristics of the equipment used, as well as the process of rescuing people from the rubble. Also, the paper lists the measures of protection by such rescue, which are very important for the efficient and safe implementation of the action, as well as direct and indirect dangers, as well as the consequences for the health of rescuers are listed as a special segment of great importance. Finally, in the conclusion, an opinion was expressed on how and in what way to improve the success of rescue operations and at the same time raise the level of training and expertise of the intervention and rescue teams, as well as preserve the safety and health of both rescuers and disaster victims.

Keywords: disasters, response, rescue of people, dangers, phases of rescue, protection measures, intervention and rescue services.
