Požari će u većoj ili manjoj meri uvek biti prisutni, teško ih je eliminisati  ali se zato rizici od požara mogu procenjivati. Efikasnim sistemom zaštite i spasavanja mogu se sprečiti ozbiljnije posledice koje mogu prerasti u katastrofe. U radu se konkretno govori o taktičkim dejstvima vatrogasno-spasilačke jedinice koje u sistemu zaštite i spasavanja imaju najznačajnije mesto i ulogu. Cilj rada je bliže upoznavanje sa postupcima vatrogasno-spasilačke jedinice, kao i podstrek za podizanje individualne pripremljenosti građana na viši nivo kako bi se adekvatno reagovalo u takvim  situacijama.</p> <p>Emergencies are inevitable regardless of the level of social, economic and technological development. Fires will always be present to a greater or lesser extent, they are difficult to eliminate, but the risks of fires can be assessed. An effective protection and rescue system can prevent more serious consequences that could turn into disasters. The paper specifically talks about the tactical actions of the fire and rescue unit, which have the most important place and role in the protection and rescue system.
